Mr. Yogesh Munjal is one of the most successful and eminent industrialists in the automobile industry.
He currently holds the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Munjal Showa Limited (a Hero Group Company).
He is an accomplished business leader, a persuasive speaker, and a dedicated entrepreneur who provides strategic direction.
He approaches management with an entrepreneurial style that combines dynamism and passion, focusing on people’s skills to bring out the best in them for the organizations and their advancement.
He was born on February 13, 1940, in Lahore, Punjab.
He graduated from IIT Roorkee with a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
Ever since he finished his formal education, he has been associated with many of the Hero Group companies in the capacity of CEO and has contributed to transforming companies.
His association with Munjal Showa commenced in 1985. A joint venture was formed with Showa Corporation of Japan, the biggest producer of shock absorbers worldwide.
He has given constant attention and care to all three of the manufacturing facilities—Gurgaon, Manesar, and Haridwar. To maintain industry dominance and continuous growth to maximize customer satisfaction, he evaluates growth and expansion plans regularly.
Over the course of a 50+ year career, he has occupied several prominent roles in the industry. He served as the President of the Gurgaon Industrial Association, Chairman of the CII-TPM Club of India, Founder Chairman of the QCFI-Delhi Chapter, Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (Haryana Committee), and an Executive Committee Member of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India.
He has won various honors during his career, including the Best Client Award from Leadership Management Institute, USA, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rotary Club (Delhi Chapter) and the Alumni Association of Roorkee, as well as the TPM Excellence Consistency Award from JIPM, Japan.
He is actively involved in the corporate social activities of educational institutions, hospitals, and spiritual and religious organizations since he firmly believes in the promotion of education. His mission is to disperse joy and tranquility throughout the cosmos.

Dr Neetika Batra

Dr Neetika Batra holds a PhD in Finance and Banking, she has an MBA in Finance from Delhi University and a B.Com (Hons) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Her thirty-plus year career has been split almost evenly between academics and the investment banking sector.
At a prestigious MBA school in Gurgaon, she has held strategic leadership positions as a professor, dean, and member of the senior leadership team. Currently, she is an adjunct Professor and Chair of Finance.
She has completed several significant research projects that have been published in esteemed journals.
His two important contributions at FLAME were to get forty top scholars from across the world to join the university as faculty and to get top universities in the USA and Europe to partner with FLAME.
He continues to serve as a member of FLAME’s governing board and advises the university on academic matters.
He was also the Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, for ten and a half years (2003–2014).
Mr Ashok Kumar Munjal

Mr Ashok Kumar Munjal, born on 14th February 1951, in Ludhiana, Punjab, belongs to the second generation of one of the most prominent families in India. Many of India’s most prosperous companies are managed by the Munjal family and fall under the Hero Group umbrella.
Mr AK Munjal is an extremely revered and well-respected name in the Indian Business diaspora and is a Commerce and Law Graduate from one of India’s most reputed Universities.
Mr Munjal founded Sunbeam Auto Pvt. Ltd., one of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in India for aluminum die-casting components, primarily for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Under his able guidance and leadership, Sunbeam Auto has grown to generate revenue of over USD 250 million while maintaining a strong profit margin.
With a long list of satisfied customers in India and around the world, Sunbeam Auto’s clientele includes Maruti Suzuki, Hero Motocorp, and Munjal Showa. With a significant global footprint, Sunbeam Auto’s export branch has also served well-known international brands like Ford, General Motors, Continental, and Daimler Chrysler.
Mr Munjal has participated in and contributed to the majority of India’s top business forums, including CII and ACMA.
In addition to his strong interest in horticulture, Mr. Munjal is involved in several social and charitable endeavors.
Mr. Hitoshi Fukagawa

Mr. Hitoshi Fukagawa, a 55-year-old man with extensive experience in engineering, production, planning, and new development, graduated from Chubu University Haruhigaoka High School in Japan.
In 1987, he began working for Hitachi Astemo, Ltd. (formerly Showa Corporation). He oversaw the Production Control Section in the operation department of Automotive Components at several facilities.
He was in charge of Hitachi Astemo, Ltd.’s Production Control section before moving to India.
Dr. Devi Singh

Dr. Devi Singh holds a Ph.D. in International Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (1984).
He is a well-known academic and educational leader in India. His immediate past assignment was as the first Vice Chancellor of FLAME University, Pune.
FLAME witnessed a major transformation, and its current reputation and standing as the top liberal arts university are a testimony to that.

He continues to serve as a member of FLAME’s governing board and advises the university on academic matters.

Dr. Singh’s teaching tenure spans globally, including a five-year stint as a visiting full-time professor at McGill University’s Faculty of Management in Canada.

He has been on several policy-level committees of the MHRD, Government of India, UGC, All India Council for Technical Education, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI), Standing Committee on Public Enterprises (SCOPE), and All India Management Association (AIMA).
He has been a member of the boards and executive councils of the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, NITTIE, Mumbai, Ambedkar University, Lucknow, Jamia Islamia University, New Delhi, Tejpur University, Tejpur, the University of Allahabad, Allahabad, and two new central universities.
He is also the mentor and founder director of IIM Rohtak (2010–11) and IIM Kashipur (2011–12).
Dr. Singh has served as a member of the RBI’s Appointments Board for two years (2011–12) and the UPSC Committee Constituted for Designing CSAT (2009–2010).
Dr. Singh was on the Board of India Fulbright for two years (2005–07) and was nominated to the International Accreditation Advisory Board of the Association of MBAs (2013) for three years.
He was also a member of the nomination committee of the AACSB for the years 2014–15.
He was the President of the Association of Indian Management Schools in 2006–07 and a member of the All India Board of Management Studies of AICTE for six years (2000–2006).
He has served on many corporate boards and is currently on the boards of governors of some of the leading public and private sector companies.
He has received several awards, including the ISTE National Fellow (2007), the UP Ratan (2008), the Best Director of a Business School (1999), the Ravi J. Mathai Fellow( 2013), and the Bharat Ashmita Award (2013).
He continues to advise and mentor several universities and institutions in the NCR region and serves on the boards of several institutions.
Yasuhiro Ashiki

At 57 years old, Mr. Yasuhiro Ashiki boasts 32 years of expansive expertise across engineering, production, planning, and pioneering development.
He graduated from Hamamatsu Technical High School in Japan and commenced his career journey with Showa Corporation in 1989, swiftly ascending through roles spanning general affairs, production, business planning, and leadership of motorcycle and hydraulic component operations.
Currently, he is serving as the Manager of the Production Planning Office for Motorcycle and Hydraulic Components Operations.
Before his venture to India, Mr. Ashiki previously helmed the New Model Department at Hitachi Astemo Ltd.
Prof. NAND L. DHAMEJA

Nand L. Dhameja is a Fellow (PhD) from IIM Ahmedabad.
He has worked for various prestigious institutes, including MDI, Gurugram; the Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi; the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI); NPC New Delhi; the University of Delhi, Delhi; the University of Maribor, Maribor, Slovenia; ICPE Ljubljana, Slovenia; the University of Mauritius, Mauritius; and the S. P. Jain Centre for Management, Singapore.
Currently, he is Professor Emeritus, FMS, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad.
He has contributed about fifteen books and about eighty-five research papers and was adjudged the Best Trainer for three consecutive years, 2005, 2006, and 2007, by MDI, Gurugram.
Prof. Dhameja has been involved in research, consulting, and training in India and abroad for about fifty years and has organized programmes and seminars sponsored by the ILO, APO, and the World Bank.
His consulting assignments and projects include the following:
Evaluation of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS);
Impact Assessment Study of the Initiatives Implemented Under the Aegis of the Investor Education and Protection Fund;
Reviewing the Management and Structure of the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi;
Implementation of Zero-Base Budgeting in the Council of Scientific and Industrial Relations, GOI;
Organizational Study of the Indian Railways Finance Corporation (IRFC)
He has been involved with policymaking in various bodies, such as
Financial Reporting Review Group constituted by ICAI; Committee of Eminent Independent Persons; Power Grid Corporation of India;
Finance Committee; and Investment Committee of Mizoram University; and the North-Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya;
He was ‘Advisor, Education Grading’ (CRISIL).
Prof. Dhameja is a member of the Board of Directors of Munjal Showa Co. Ltd. and the Board of Governors of the Society for Capital Market Research and Development (SCMRD), New Delhi (a non-profit organisation).
He was awarded the ‘Paul H. Appleby Award for excellent service in the field of public administration and the Indian Institute of Public Administration for the year 2018.
